I did two mistakes here.
1. I considered that lie is the word used for cheating or perfidyish.
2. i did not know the meaning of the word apposed.. which now I know is "close proximity"
I got the second option correct by the process of elimination. however for Option A Enamored was a nice trap however It also belied the usage of word LIE in the sentence.
