\(0 < p <1\)

Quantity A
Quantity B
\(p^4\) – \(p^6\)
\(p^3\)– \(p^5\)

A)The quantity in Column A is greater.
B)The quantity in Column B is greater.
C)The two quantities are equal.
D)The relationship cannot be determined from the information given.

Kudos for the right answer and explanation

If you square or cube any positive fraction less than 0, it will be decreased. So \(p^4\) is less than \(p^3\) and \(p^6\) is less than \(p^5\). And as it is the same number P for each one, the difference won't be same for Column A and Column B.

Therefore B is the right answer.
