Simpler way (I suppose):

3/4 to the grocery
1/3 of 1/4 remaining to the restaurant
The remaining is 2/4 of 2/3 = 200 pounds (2/12 = 1/6 of the crop)

1/6 x = 200
x = 200 * 6
x = 1,200

Answer: D
