let \(a\) be that fraction then,
\(\frac{30}{100} * 50 = \frac{75}{100} * 80 * a\)
\(100\) cancels out so
\(30 * 50 = 75 * 80 * a\)
Hence, \(a = 30 * 50/ 75 * 80\)
\(a = \frac{1}{4}\)
\(\frac{30}{100} * 50 = \frac{75}{100} * 80 * a\)
\(100\) cancels out so
\(30 * 50 = 75 * 80 * a\)
Hence, \(a = 30 * 50/ 75 * 80\)
\(a = \frac{1}{4}\)

Since 10% of 50 = 5, we can conclude that 30% of 50 = 15
75% of 80
75% = 3/4
So, 75% of 80 = 3/4 of 80 = 60
So, our question becomes: 15 is what fraction of 60?
NOTE: For numeric entry questions involving fractions, ALL EQUIVALENT FRACTIONS are considered correct.
So, we could just enter 15/60 as our answer [since 15 = 15/60 of 60]
Or, if we could simplify 15/60 to get 1/4, which would also be correct.
Or we could enter 100/400 (which is equivalent to 1/4)
Etc
Answers: 1/4, 15/60, 100/400, 2/8, . . . etc [all would be considered correct]
