Some observers have attributed the dramatic growth in temporary employ [#permalink]
[quote="Carcass"]

5 - A
Inference question
"Some analysts believed that worker chose temporary jobs voluntarily"
Hence if there are less temporary workers would decline if the workers are unwilling to work.

Can we not use the same logic of increase in workers count and accordingly the temp jobs to validate the OPTION E.?

The key thing to understand or infer from the first sentence is that we do have two things

1) first-time or reentering workers,

2) the people mentioned in 1) are those who did not work BEFORE and want a job or back again in the job market

(A) That the number of new temporary positions would decline as fewer workers who preferred temporary employment entered the workforce

(E) That the number of workers taking temporary positions would increase as more workers in any given demographic group entered the workforce

we have in A) first time or reentering workers along with NEW positions.

In E we do have temporary positions which are NOT necessarily brand new or created in from scratch, they could be also ALREADY existed in the job market ANDDDDDD workers from ANY group not just the TWO mentioned in 1)

Therefore, E is wrong
