As we acquire more knowledge, things do not become more comprehensible, but more complex and mysterious.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.
To attain all possible knowledge is what can seem to be the highly sought after goal of human kind, for it not only makes one understand the intricacies of the world around us but also makes one feel powerful. The prompt says that as we acquire more knowledge, things do not become more comprehensible, rather they become more complex and mysterious. It seems a bit obscure as to how acquiring knowledge can make things more incomprehensible. However, there are certain instances when that really is the case.
To begin with, let us analyse how knowledge can help us understand things and dissolve all the mysteries around it. Consider the case when knowledge about science is pursued, for example electricity. Although it was discovered fortuitously, scientists since then have diligently strived to understand it more closely as to how does it work, what are its origin what are its effects and if electricity can be put to good use. As they carried out their research, the understanding of electricity not only increase but it also helped develop some of the most complex machine such as transformers, generators and other electrical devices. It is evident then that more knowledge and understanding was acquired, understanding electricity and its cause such as the passage of electrons was understood and that knowledge itself has been exploited to the extent that we have created new applications. This has left no room for any apprehensions, nothing is mysterious and even the most complex understandings of science has made possible to make the most complex machines.
This linear trail of searching for knowledge, grasping it and then removing any complexities around it is not as easy as discussed above when we talk of , say, more subjective fields such as philosophy. To interpret a certain observation, the many different minds will construct many different theories, each with its certain advantages and shortcomings but none being reject-able all together. For instance, when it comes to the knowledge of whether God exists or not or say about the theory of Karma. There is no single point that can be best described as only black or only white. Each person uses his or her personal experiences to put up a theory and these experiences certainly cannot be false, hence the theories put up by the different people are also not incorrect. The result could explained on the basis of a number of actors, maybe even a combination of those mentioned by the researchers. Since, there is not always a clear and definitive dichotomy to the questions that require knowledge of philosophy , it becomes even more complex and highly mysterious.
It can be inferred from here that not all knowledge leads to clarity, certain grey areas exist where gaining more knowledge, uninstinctively, makes things more difficult to understand. Knowledge of certain objective topics like science or technology do not fall in this criteria but the more subjective topics from the arts and humanities do have this feature. The more we understand, the more complex do they become.

First of all, It is a well-developed and well-organized essay, and each reasoning is support with detailed explanation, though you should try to fix some grammars (such as the sentence "The result could explained..." in the 3rd para).
Also, in the 2nd para, I believe the sentence " understanding electricity and its cause such as the passage of electrons was understood" should be fixed since there are two words with the same root (understanding and understood).
It's an excellent essay overall. Good job!!

Exploring different fields of knowledge helps an individual to become wiser and posse strong personality. Through process of acquiring knowledge from different faculties helps an individual to gain varieties of information which can allow an individual to develop a good moral character. However, sometimes knowledge we acquire may seem uncomprehensive and difficult, but repeated practice can help an individual to grasp it. Thus, through continuous practice of learning, can help an individual to absorb variety of information and also help them in exploring different field of knowledge.
Acquiring knowledge helps in divulging mysteries and complex information. When we gather more information from various sources, we will acquire skills of understanding and breaking down complex information into simple information. With vigorous practicing the idea of breaking down information, we will get familiar with content, and we will develop the capability to critically contemplate about the content. Application of critical thinking skills helps in rationalizing and analyzing the content provided. Consequently, we gradually start becoming curious about the topic and we try to find answers to our questions. Likewise, in research studies, the scientist studies a given topic, they use their knowledge and critical thinking skills to question the existence of a theory and they perform experiments to find answers to their given problem. Hence, acquiring knowledge helps in developing critical thinking skills which can help in undiscovering mysteries and complex information.
Through the process of gaining knowledge improves our learning abilities which can help us to comprehend different topics. From pre-school to high school, we have learned several things that have helped us to become who we are today.
