Therefore the explanations of the Power Prep FREE software at the moment are no longer available on the forum to the students. Neither Carcass has access or might grant it.

The 2 PowerPrep Tests are the most valuable tests. You should cherish them! These tests can give you the most accurate estimate of your score and can save you from burning and crashing on the test day. However, there is one major issue with the PowerPrep - there are absolutely no explanations. You only see the correct answer and that's it. This topic is here to help you find expert explanations for all of the PowerPrep test questions. Whether you got them right or wrong, we highly encourage you to review explanations to learn new strategies, techniques, and shortcuts! But do not use these links until AFTER you have taken the tests!

SCORING INFORMATION AND HOW TO MAXIMIZE YOUR PREP
The way that the GRE Test works is that the difficulty of your second section on the test depends on your performance on the first section. If you do well in Quant for example, your second quant section is harder and if you don't, then it is easier. There are 3 possible scnarios depending on the number of mistakes:
- Step 1: Find your second section by looking at the number of mistakes you made in the first section
- 0-6 correct - Easy
- 7-14 correct - Medium
- 15-20 correct - Hard
- STEP 2: Identify the section that you should review (that's the one you attempted)
- STEP 3: Attempt the other 2 sections. E.g. if you got Medium on the test, then you can also attempt Easy and Hard sections later on. Make sure to time yourself!

Is GRE Prep Club going to add explanations to the questions from the 2 new paid PowerPrep Plus Online tests as well? I would be happy to contribute to that project.
If you would prefer a professionally printed guide to the PowerPrep tests that I co-authored, with detailed explanations to all 320 questions, then go here.
The download link to the old PowerPrep software is helpful, too--since the PowerPrep Online tests aren't always functional. I have the old Mac versions of the software, if anyone is interested.
