What is your doubt ?

1. Question does not state the figure to be a parallelogram or sets of two parallel lines.
2. The diagonals given in the figure are AD and BC instead of AC and BD, in which case Option C may be considered.

We do not have the caption "the diagram could not drawn the scale"

Therefore , with the caption, it could be a rectangle, rhombus, anything

But we do not have. So it is a parallelogram according to what is before our eyes

Hope this hleps

But by GRE rules for QC questions, we cannot assume anything, even the nonstated. It's like those question where you have a circle, and a point that seems to be the center, but there is no caption that says that such point is the center, but that doesn't mean you can safely assume the point is indeed the center. I think this kind of trick is not that valid. Even at the beginning of the Quant section you have the rules.

yes that is also true. I agree.

However, if nothing is stated we can reasonably infer that the figure in front of us is a parallelogram as it is rather than a rectangular shape.
