Qty A = 1! (10-1)! = 1 * 9! = 9 * 8!

Qty B = 2!(10-2)! = 2 * 8!

Now which is greater?

9 * 8! or 2 * 8!. It is now very easy to see that 9 * 8! is greater.

Correct Answer: Option A

Th question is actually asking to compare 9 with 4. As this is what we get on solving both the terms.

Quantity A: 9!
Quantity B: 2(8!)

Divide both quantities by 8!
Now we have:

A: 9 > B: 2

Quantity A

1!(10 - 1)! = 1 * 9! = 9! = 1*2*3*...*8*9 = 8! * 9 = 9*8!

Quantity B

2!(10 - 2)! = 1*2 * 8! = 2*8!

Clearly, Quantity A (9*8!) > Quantity B (2*8!)

So, Answer will be A
