Area of circle = π(radius)²
So, if the radius is 1/4, then area = π(1/4)²
= π(1/16)
= π/16
In other words, x = π/16
So, we get:
Quantity A: π/16
Quantity B: 1/4
If we're not sure what to do here, a quick approach is to use matching operations
Multiply both quantities by 16 to get:
Quantity A: π
Quantity B: 4
Since π ≈ 3.14, we can see that Quantity B is greater.
Answer: B
