From the question, we can get an understanding that P<K, K>M, M>J, J>S. From this we can get 2 orders, P<K and S<J<M<K. So, the possible orders are:
S<J<M<P<K - median is M
S<J<P<M<K - median is P
S<P<J<M<K - median is J
P<S<J<M<K - median is J
Thus, the possible answers are Mike, Pete and Jim.
I suppose these are the correct answers, I'm new here so don't now how to check for the correct answer.

We know this order from the question: SJMK.

However, all we know about P is that it's less than K, but not where it is relative to the others. Therefore, it could be in any place 1st-4th.

So if P is first, then J is the median.
If P is second, then J is the median.
If P is third, the P is the median.
If P is fourth, then M is the media.

Thus J, P, or M could be the median --> answer choices A, C, E
