If the drop out rate of prof. Tayler class is at least 15% and drop out rate of prof. Quin class is 20% greater, it means that the drop out rate of Prof. Quin class is at least (1+0.2)*0.15 = 0.18. Then, given that there are 120 student at the end of the course, this means that 120 = X - 0.18X, where X is the total number of students at the beginning. It is easy to find that the minimal starting number of students is 146.34. Thus all the choice reporting a number greater than 146 are correct. Thus we have answer E, F, G, H to be right!

Let X = Total number of students who signed up for Professor Quin’s class
Drop out rate of Quin's = 20% greater than than Tyler's rate
i.e Drop out rate of Quin's = 20% of 15
= 3 (That has to be greater than 15%)
= 18% (3+15)
According to the statement we have,
82% * X = 120 (since 18% dropped out, so 82 % remain in the last day)
or X = 146.34
So values above 146.34 are our answers.
