This is tough but with a bit of visualization, the question should be manageable.
We do know from the stem that the triangle ABC is a right triangle. So, A or B or C is 90°.
Now, A we know is 20° so is out. Therefore, B or C is 90°. Which one?
Notice that B is an exterior angle y° so must be more than 90°. So, we do know that B must b > of C.
However, from the stem, we do know that or B or C must be 90°. Considering the two statements above: B > C (for sure) AND at the same One of the two B or C must be 90°.
We can safely conclude that B is 90°. the answer is E.
the value of y is 90°.
