The Average cannot be determined, since we don't know the exact number of TVs that are in the households that have 5 or more TVs (they can have 5, 6, ...or every other greater number) --> to compute the average, we need any single number (it takes outliers into account in contrast to the median). We could compute the median, but that is not asked, so the answer is A
(16*0 +8*1 + 2*24 + 3*20 + 4*20 + x*12) / 100 = (8+48+60+80+12x) /100 = 1,96 +0,12x
