(6x - 1750)/x =1
=> 6x - 1750 = x
=> 6x -x = 1750
=>5x = 1750
therefore, X = 350

In the equation t=6t-1750 formed from the understanding of profit = revenue - expenditure, I can understand the right side of the equation. But I cannot understand the left side. How is profit equal to t from the given statement that each ticket must garner 1$ of profit each?
