Sum of terms from -40 to +40 would cancel out and hence we are left with the sum from 41 to 60. Since these are consecutive integers, sum can be obtained by finding the mean of these numbers and multiplying it with the number of such terms.
Mean can be obtained by the avg of first and last term of the series= (41+60)/2=50.5. There are 20 such numbers(as the question mentions inclusive) therefore multiplying the mean with the number of terms would give us the value of the sum. 50.5*20=1010
