Foreign languages = 1.4 x 100 = 140
Fine arts = 1.8 x 100 = 180
Health and PE = 2.3 x 100 = 230
The total is 550.

The answer is E. Hope now is clear.

The question talks about grades field! why should we be finding totals of Foreign Languages, Fine arts and health and PE?

RIGHT! this is the doubt i have in mind, and what does it mean by "grades field"?

I do not know why in the stem of the first question, it was not showed grade fields 1-12.

Now E has much sense. Apologize :)
