Could someone offer their insights on how important are the formulas for progressions & sequences if you aim for a top quant GRE score?
Are they definitely in the quant curriculum? I ask because I have done a lot of exercises, including exercises from the official books and they were never brought up in the answer explanations. Some of them also look a bit hard to remember for the test day and stress me out.

Did you see the scale at the top of this post ?

It is 3 out of five

I think no more than 1 or 2 questions during the test if no one whatsoever

Thanks, I saw the score but I didn't know how accurate it is. I saw several other sections with similar ~3 stars.
I think in most sequence questions I have found, the answer explanations use just logic. While I haven't found any practice questions with progressions so far.

I labeled 3 all those contents that are relevant but to that much.

Are Harmonic and Geometric progression actually the part of GRE curriculum, or they have been mentioned in the GPC Math book just for completeness?
