This book is customized leaving out those advanced concepts that are tested on the GMAT but NOT on the GRE

The book above is conceived to cover all the concepts relevant to the GRE and not waste your time studying other stuff

Also you can take a look to these fundamentals and advanced math concepts here 35 chapters

Hope this helps

Good question Sir

Well, the math essential, as the word explains by itself, are all the basic concepts you need for the GRE. I would say it covers from easy to medium and slightly more the medium range

The GRE book covers only the concepts tested and relevant for the GRE but from medium to the most advanced concepts

As matter of fact: in the first one you do not have an overlapping set but you do have in the second

By doing both you will create and incorporate all the notions for the GRE, creating a concrete wall + practice. ideally, this is the outlook

I hope this helps
