Let's test some possible values that satisfy BOTH equations.
case i) a = 5, b = 15 and c = 4
Notice that a/b = 5/15 = 1/3 and b/c = 15/4
In this case, a = 5 and c = 4
So, QUANTITY A IS GREATER
case ii) a = -5, b = -15 and c = -4
Notice that a/b = -5/-15 = 1/3 and b/c = -15/-4 = 15/4
In this case, a = -5 and c = -4
So, QUANTITY B IS GREATER
