What is the ration of the amount budgeted annually for food to the amount budgeted annually for savings?
(A) 4 to 3
(B) 4 to 7
(C) 5 to 3
(D) 7 to 3
(E) 7 to 4
Here
Food is 20% of 42,000 = 8400
Savings is 15% of 42,000 = 6300
Hence the ratio of amount budgeted annually for food to the amount budgeted annually for savings = \(\frac{8400}{6300}\) = \(\frac{4}{3}\)
