I am not in favor of Standard Study plans. Everyone GRE preparation is different and the entire preparation plan should be personalized based on gap/timelines between diagnostic scores vs the target scores. I am surprised - (not referring to this post, obviously) - that people make plans and they post with their blogs to misguide others. Why should I follow 3 months (Maths and quant) plan, if I just need to focus on quant only? Or there are many dimensions to it.

However, I do agree, having a focussed study plan (Looking at your own individual weak and strong areas) and proper schedule on a daily basis is very important for the score improvement.

I don't suppose if people know with the quant section if there tends to be a particular focus for exams, for example more algebra than geometry or is it completely random?

Hi, and thanks for sharing it.
Is it Kaplan Test Prep edition, right?
I was studying GRE PREP PLUS 2019 book recently and for me it appeared to be the best edition ever along with practice.

A decent book.

Here our review of the best books to prepare for the GRE https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/best-gre- ... s-157.html

It's very important to choose a good prep book. There are a lot of them on the market, but be aware that not all of them have the same information. Taking the book made by the same folks that made GRE might be a smart decision because practice questions are very similar to the actual exam.

I thought it would be more random. Do they divide every single test in this manner or this can vary from one test to another?

No.

Those are the area of contents that ETS tests mainly, giving more emphasis on how you see the split above.

But the order is impossible to assess inside the tests.

Those are simply the concepts likely tested. That's it. Statistically
