Does the GRE also require using a scratchpad? Or do we get clear A4 papers and a standard pencil with an eraser?

[quote="Carcass"]

11. Learn how to use a scratch pad, and how to use it to the best of your advantage on testday

So many of you may not know this, but you are not allowed to use pen or paper on test day. No pen and paper you say!? Yes, the GMAT uses what is called a scratch pad.

You may not take notes on regular paper, for security purposes.
You may use one of the following:
One small desktop white board with erasable marker
One sheet of paper inside a transparent sheet protector, with an erasable marker. Pencils and pens are not permitted.
At the end of the test, you will need to show the proctor that all notes have been erased.

From here https://www.ets.org/gre/test-takers/gen ... 5d0104f0cc

These three items on amazon is what I recommend

White board erasable https://www.amazon.com/Brands-Contempo- ... 199&sr=8-2

Markers https://www.amazon.com/Erase-Markers-Ch ... 231&sr=8-4

or this https://www.amazon.com/80661-Low-Odor-M ... 231&sr=8-8

Eraser https://www.amazon.com/Bi-Office-Light- ... 188&sr=8-2

The above at home GRE test version

If you take the GRE at a test center they should provide you something similar

How can I improve my score?

I did the diagnostic test yesterday.

I noticed that I need to study more vocab and some verbal questions.

Also I noticed I need to answer quant questions faster. I don't know exactly how. (I think I saw a post there commenting how long time for each question). I need to review some probability questions.

Third: I need to write a composition in 30 minutes. Now I write in less than 50 minutes, but GRE exam never waits.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Dear sir,

based on the information provided

1) Vocabas - https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/shorte ... 27704.html the best lists. Also you have here all the vocabs in the powerprep so it is very reliable. However the vocabs are only part of the gam. Most important is to understand the logic of the sentence. Here you have my TC/SE guide even though it is not complete https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/shorte ... 33604.html

2) you must reinforce your quant skills and your fundamentals. The more are you confident the more you will improve the time management and accuracy in the questions see here please https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/gre-ma ... 29264.html

3) For awa you need no more than this. It is just a template at the core https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/shorte ... -3426.html

4) A good study plan https://gre.myprepclub.com/forum/gre-st ... ml?fl=menu

If you take a look at the bar of the website on top you have all the relevant links to a robust preparation
