You would have an onlne calculator in GRE. Please use calculator for this question.
Divide 617 by 49 with the calculator to get 12.5918…. The tens digit is 1. The tenths digit is 5. The answer is 1 + 5 = 6.
The object of this question is just to check your understanding of number systems. It is not a calcuation or concept intensive question.
