No

If during our life we would act HOW we would have already had a post-mortem judgment

I:E suppose we are still alive and we perform every kind of action BUT if we act like we could see we after death and someone points out to us we were wrong and then we have a self-evaluation of ourselves, yes maybe we would act differently and in great consciousness

Hope now is more clear

If a ruler’s self-evaluation in life depended on how others will remember him after (i) ______, no prince or king would rest easy, knowing that if he is defeated, history would remember him as a loser.

The sentence talks about the ruler's self-evaluation in life.

It then states that no prince or king would rest easy since history would remember him as a loser if he was defeated.

This means that the self-evaluation depended on his performance in battle.

Battle seems like the answer to this question.
