Explanation
x is 0.5% of y. So if you fix a value of y, any value at all, you fix x.
Lets do that, say y=100.
x= 0.5% of y or x=0.5100×y=0.5
Now y is what percent of x part. This is where it get a bit tricky!
Now yx=1000.5=200.
Or y is 200 times x. which is 20000%.
Note percent can be broken down as per - cent. Here per means for every (or divided by) and cent means (100).
So for every 100 of x we have 100×200 of y.
