x positive can be both between 0 and 1 and over 1. Thus, when x is between 0 and 1, x^3 is smaller than x^2 and quantity A is larger. When x > 1, x^3 is greater than x^2 and quantity B is greater. Thus, Answer D

Hello, the question states that x is a positive integer.A positive integer is any integer that is greater than zero (0). In other words, a positive integer is any integer that is to the right of zero on the number line. Also, a positive integer is any integer that is a member of the set of natural numbers, i.e., counting numbers; therefore, the positive integers are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 34, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, ... According to this logic, x can never between 0 to 1 and x^3 will always be greater.
