arrange the term in ascending order with x as the first term because it is -ve. 7 is the term in the middle hence it is the median.

To find the median, first rearrange the list in ASCENDING order.
Since x is negative, it MUST be the smallest value.
We get: {x, 3, 7, 11, 20}
The median is the middle-most number...7
Answer: B
