We know $\(y=-3\)$; we need to check which of the given options is true.
Since $\(y\)$ is a negative integer, we must have $\(\mathrm{y}^{\text {odd <\mathrm{y}^{\text {even \)$.
Also as in case of negative integer higher the odd power lesser will be the value \& lesser the even power lesser is the value, so we get
$$
\(y^3<y<y^2<y^4\)
$$
Hence option (C) is correct.
