Sorry, I do not wanna misunderstood Sir or even worst.
Your problem is NOT vocab knowledge. Your problem is the understanding of the overall meaning of the sentence.
The only way to boost the verbal part of this test, which is QUITE difficult (the legend that is easier than the GMAT is a relic of the past) is to improve your English.
In the short run even if you know AL the vocabs of this world then what: if you do not grasp the sentence, what is going on, its meaning knowing a bunch of words will NOT save your day. This is the truth that ALL the prep companies do not tell you. They teach you: improve your vocabulary and then you will get the perfect verbal score. Never heard a bigger lie than this.
It is also true that to know a lot of words maybe and I say maybe you could nail some SE more because they are the easier if you do know a lot of words: using the pair strategy. However, this is not true for the blanks questions and for RC and CR.
My advice is to improve your understanding of English. This could come in handy. No shortcuts. Use this

Thanks for the response, Carcass and I thank you for your honest feedback.
While going through the sections today, I realised that I was able to understand the sentence and also the word(s) which could fit in as answers. However, some of the words presented as options were too difficult for me to comprehend and know their meaning. Hence, my desire to add some words to my vocabulary.
