But, can you still provide your argument for this. Initially, I thought the answer was supposed to be 'B', but the OA states 'C'.
My reason: if women were not permitted to be soldiers/cavalries and no gravesites contain bones of females, then all the cavalry soldiers are male according to the archaeologist's descriptions. While 'C' states only a few men, the passage denotes several hundred were buried.
