In an experiment, two hundred mice of a strain that is normally free of leukemia were given equal doses of radiation. Half the mice were then allowed to eat their usual foods without restraint, while the other half were given adequate but limited amounts of the same foods. Of the first group, fifty-five developed leukemia; of the second, only three.

The experiment above best supports which of the following conclusions?

(A) Leukemia inexplicably strikes some individuals from strains of mice normally free of the disease.
(B) The incidence of leukemia in mice of this strain which have been exposed to the experimental doses of radiation can be kept down by limiting their intake of food.
(C) Experimental exposure to radiation has very little effect on the development of leukemia in any strain of mice.
(D) Given unlimited access to food, a mouse eventually settles on a diet that is optimum for its health.
(E) Allowing, mice to eat their usual foods increases the likelihood that the mice will develop leukemia whether or not they have been exposed to radiation.

Although it is a very easy question but engrossing for practicing "extreme words".

A) extreme word----- some
B) answer
C) extreme word-------very little
D) extreme word------eventually
E) extreme word------usual.

About "extreme words" see the manhattan 7-8 or Verbal grail resources.

Some of Extreme WOrds are : all, never, usually, sometimes, possibly, must/might be true, always/never be true, cannot be determined, and etc.

Could you share elaborate on this part about "extreme words" ? Sounds like a good weapon to use to eliminate answer choices. Tried searching but could get only generalized links.
Also, why is "some" considered under "extreme words"

That is a conceptual MAP for CR on the GMAT. However, even though in the GRE the CR are slightly easier but not that much, it is quite useful. Read the map and understand what is all about.

It is quite explanatory by itself, I guess

Thank you for the response.
I am not sure where to start in this map. Can you give me a starting point, a process? like look at this, then this..etc.

It is like a workflow at high school

If you notice on the left side the entire map is divided into 3 pieces

Stimulus (or the stem)
Question (what is asking you: assumption, conclusion...............)
The answer choices

Then follow the map.

Or use the following
