Using the basic formula \(speed = \frac{distance}{time}\), we can easily compute the distance to work as \(45*\frac{1}{3} = 15\), where 45 is the speed and 1/3 is 20 minutes in hours.
Now, we want to compute the speed necessary to do the same trip in 15 minutes, or 1/4 hours. Thus, \(15*4 = 60\). The speed is 60 mph.
