Hi all, I am 4th year Undergrad from IIIT-Hyderabad and academically i don't have have much cgpa (around 7.2) and i don't have research background also but i have work experience (as a intern in my 3rd year in tokyo ). So please suggest that if I get good GRE score and TOEFL score and good LOR than can i get good universities or not ?

Hi Harshbash,
Very honestly, your GPA is going to hurt you since Computer Science traditionally is a High Scoring Department (your competitors are likely to have high GPA). Bear in mind that GRE TOEFL Scores are only a part of your application; your over all profile matters a lot. I would strongly recommend that you make a list of ambitious, moderate and safe schools based on your interests and then prune the list down to 7-8 schools.
Go with 2 Ambi 3 Mod 3 Safe configuration. You have internship that is a plus for your profile. I think with a good SOP and decent LORS you have a decent shot.
Take your time with School research and find topics that interest you. If possible get your self involved with some research work back at you college it will go a long way in bolstering your application.

Actually my college is completed and now i have three months before joining a company so i was thinking of giving gre in these three months. So please suggest me as to how to get started . It would be of great help. Thanks.
