Could you take a practice exam and report back here with your score breakdown?

Hi Scott,

Sorry for the delayed. Here is the practice test 1 I took today. I feel like I saw some of the questions from ETS practice for the Verbal part and plus shear luck I was able to get 20/20 on the first part. I'd like to maintain this consistency. What else can I do?

Score -157 and Quant 154

Verbal Reasoning - 20/20
Quant - 16/20
Verbal - 4/16
Quant - 8/20 with 3 did not answer.

Hi,

and welcome to the board. I am glad to help you

This difference should be an object of investigation. However, did you take the exam in akin test conditions ?? how long did pass from the Manhattan test and the greprepclub test ?? one month ?? one day ??

of course, I am not saying that our test is tougher or better or other silly things because Manhattan Prep is a well-established brand. Nonetheless, our test is really tailored to mimic very similar to the power prep test.

Another suggestion I could give you is this:

1) do not rely too much on the different mock test because , at the end of the day, they are always un-official tests. The only hallmark you should take for granted is the official test PP

2) try to take both tests in similar stress-conditions: the same hour of the day, silent environment (both; not one with noise or disturbances and the other not) and so forth

We are always here for any possible feedback from you, giving assistance.

Regards

Hi Carcass,

Thanks for replying. I do noticed for SC and TC the vocabularies that were used weren't something that I had studied in the Magoosh/Mahattan set. Maybe I haven't studied too far in(2 weeks, only grasp the basic and realized I'm bad at Verbal). I have one month left before taking the real GRE and I'm following the one month study plan on this forum. I'm really bad at Verbal, since I'm not a native speaker. Do you have any particular suggestion outside of the study plan that would help me?

The real problem is that the test from prep companies hardly replicate really close the real algorithm.

Our test is the same. We do not pretend that if you do the greprepclub tests https://gre.myprepclub.com/tests are the same as the powerprep.

However, we conceived it to replicate the real question as much as is possible.

Give a try.
