oringal quantity of solution=1
solution replaced = x

0.4 *(1-x)+0.25x= 0.35 *1

0.05= 0.15 x--> x= 1/3

I am not able to understand the answer I got up to the point 2:1. x: y

Through weighted average.
40(x)+25(y)
-------------- = 35
x + y
But I can't understand how the answer is 1/3 can someone explain please??
