usually this kind of problem has a pattern to them
If you jot down X you will have 1+3+5+7+9.......61
Y is 2+4+6+8+10.........60
So the difference will be
(61-60)+(59-58)...........and so forth
we will end up to have 1+1+1+1.............for 31 times =31
a is the answer for just 1 of difference
