We're told the budgets for 2 projects in 1990:
Project Q = $660,000
Project V = $780,000
We're then told that in each of the next 10 years, the budget for Q was increased by $30,000 and the budget for V was decreased by $10,000. We're asked for the year in which the two budgets were EQUAL.
1991: Q = 690,000; V = 770,000
1992: Q = 720,000; V = 760,000
1993: Q = 750,000; V = 750,000
Answer: B
