50% faster means Stacy runs at a speed of 150% of Jon.
Jon's speed: 1/4 race/hr
Stacy's speed: (150% * 1/4) race/hr = (3/2 * 1/4) race/hr = 3/8 race/hr
Time taken = Distance / Speed
--> Time taken by Stacy = (1 race)/(3/8 race/hr) = 8/3 hr = 2.66 hrs > 2.5 hrs
