10r = 26.6666………(2)
Equation (2) -(1)
9r = 24
r= 24/9 = 8/3 but r= a/b
.: a= 8 , b= 3
Quantity A
(a+b) = (8+3) = 11
Quantity B

2.666.. can be written as 2 + 0.66..
Therefore,
2 + 6/9 -> 24/9 -> 8/3
Hence a = 8, b = 3
QA
a + b -> 8+3 -> 11
QB is 10
QA > QB
Therefore,
2 + 6/9 -> 24/9 -> 8/3
Hence a = 8, b = 3
