According to the information the sequence is Arithmetic Progression. Let us assume that ๐‘€1 = ๐‘Ž

๐‘€ 2 = ๐‘Ž + ๐‘‘

๐‘€3 = ๐‘Ž + 2๐‘‘ and so on where Mn = ๐‘Ž + (๐‘› โˆ’ 1)๐‘‘

So, the terms are:

๐‘Ž, ๐‘Ž + ๐‘‘ , ๐‘Ž + 2๐‘‘, ๐‘Ž + 3๐‘‘, ๐‘Ž + 4๐‘‘, ๐‘Ž + 5๐‘‘, ๐‘Ž + 6๐‘‘

Now, we can see that the sum of

Now, ๐‘€2 + ๐‘€4 + ๐‘€6 = ๐‘Ž + ๐‘‘, ๐‘Ž + 3๐‘‘, ๐‘Ž + 5๐‘‘,

48 = 3๐‘Ž + 9๐‘‘ โ†’ 16 = ๐‘Ž + 3๐‘‘

Therefore,
๐‘€1 + ๐‘€3 + ๐‘€5 + ๐‘€7 = ๐‘Ž , ๐‘Ž + 2๐‘‘, ๐‘Ž + 4๐‘‘, ๐‘Ž + 6d

= 4๐‘Ž + 12๐‘‘
= 4(๐‘Ž + 3๐‘‘)
= 4 ร— 16
= 64
