Given that, x: y = 2:1 ; x is twice the value of y.
If y = k, the value of x would be 2k.
2x + 2x + 3y + y = 180
4x + 4y = 180
Dividing the equation by 4,
x + y = 45
2k + k = 45
3k = 45
k = 15
Since, x = 2k
x = 2 ×15 = 30°
Ans. (D)
