Mettlesome, penchant. You are looking for another word for “courageous,” but one that doesn't carry negative connotations (the “indeed” in front of the blank indicates that the spin will be the same as the spin of "virtue”). Mettlesome means spirited or courageous, but impetuous (impulsive) and heady (intoxicating; exhilarating) do not match the fill-in. But the cartoon mouse seemingly engages in excessive violence, so it has a tendency toward, or a penchant for, violence, not a kinship (blood relationship) or largess (generosity) for violence.
