No of minutes for 16 customers are:

\(5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 8, 10, 10, 10, 10, 13, 13, 15, 15, 15, 19\)

Qt A

The Inter Quartile Range is called the mid-spread, middle \(50\)% (between \(25 - 75\) %tile).

Here the middle \(50\)% will be \(6, 6, 8, 10, 10, 10, 10, 13, 13, 15\)

Inter quartile Range \(= 15 - 6 = 9\)

Qt B

\(\frac{Range}{2} = \frac{19 - 5}{2} = 7\)

Qt A > Qt B

Answer A

Position of Q3 = 12.75
Q3 = average of the 12th and 13th values in the ordered data:
Q3 = (13 + 15) / 2 = 14

Now, we have Q1 = 6 and Q3 = 14.

Step 4: Calculate the interquartile range (IQR):
IQR = Q3 - Q1
IQR = 14 - 6
IQR = 8

8>7
