John wants to place marbles in carry bags and it is given that the bags can be empty too (Hence, all the marbles can go to 1 bag also.)
It is given that there are 5 different marbles and 2 different bags.
Whatever is to be assigned, let’s make dashes for that.
\(M_1, M_2, M_3, M_4, M_5.\)
Number of ways to fill each dash = 2
Number of ways to fill 1st and 2nd and 3rd and 4th and 5th dash \(= 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 = 32\)
Quantity A = 32
Quantity B = 25
Since, Quantity A is greater than Quantity B.
Ans. (A)
