We know, Average is sum of all terms/# of terms

Sum of all terms = Average × number of terms
Sum of weights for 10 students = 43 × 10 = 430
It is given that two students, having average weight 45kg leaves the class.
So, Sum of weights of two students = Average weight × number of students = 45×2 = 90
Now, Sum of weights of remaining 8 students = Sum of weight of 10 students – Sum
of weight of 2 students
430-90=340
Average weight of 8 students =340/8=42.5
