R1 or R2 dilemma for the MiM (GRE: 317)

Hey everyone!
Just finished giving my GRE exam. The results were lower than expected. I'll be going to school in Fall 2024, for the MiM. My split was 164Q 153V (writing assessment is pending). I am planning to take my IELTS at the earliest and have reached out to a few schools enquiring about what they had to say regarding their GRE requirements.
ESCP: 'The average GMAT score of our admitted candidates is around 680, so I will let you look into the equivalence for the GRE test'
ESSEC: 'A score of 320 or more is recommended'
IE: 'We expect a minimum of 315 for consideration'
I did not disclose what I have scored currently but IE did mention in case of issues, the Admissions department might ask a candidate to retake the test.
Coming to the meat of the question, I am perplexed if I should go ahead with R1 applications and get approval from universities prior to applying to take into consideration that I am keen to reattempt the GRE and if they would be open to accepting an updated score. My feeling is that I am really close to the GRE cutoffs and since they only weigh in ~10-15% of the entire profile evaluation, I could be good or at worst could be asked to redo the test. It is also important to consider the 2.5 years of working experience I have in the management consulting sector in a globally renowned firm.
Will you suggest I go ahead with R1 applications or to wait, redo the test, and try in R2? Any help is greatly appreciated.
