.We are given that the average sales of a product of a company for 10 months is
$1500 and the average sales of the company for the remaining two months is
$1800.
We need to find the average sales of all 12 months.
Now, Average sale for first 10 months is 1500 i.e.= 1500= sum of the first 10 months/10
Summation for first 10 months is = 1500 × 10 = 15000
Also, Average sale for remaining two months = 1800= sum of the remaining 2 months/2
Summation for remaining two months = 1800 × 2 = 3600
Total average for 12 months
15000+3600/12=1550
.We are given that the average sales of a product of a company for 10 months is
$1500 and the average sales of the company for the remaining two months is
$1800.
We need to find the average sales of all 12 months.
Now, Average sale for first 10 months is 1500 i.e.= 1500= sum of the first 10 months/10
Summation for first 10 months is = 1500 × 10 = 15000

Summation for remaining two months = 1800 × 2 = 3600
Total average for 12 months

(10*1500+2*1800)/12
(10*1500+2*1800)/12
