The concept:
To calculate the mirror image (reflection) of any point P
• Along the 𝑥-axis, we will change the sign of 𝑦-coordinate

• Along the 𝒚-axis; we will change the sign of 𝑥-coordinate.
• Along 𝑦 = 𝑥 line, we will interchange the 𝑥-coordinate and 𝑦 -coordinates
• Along 𝑦 = -𝑥 line,
- we will first interchange 𝑥-coordinate and 𝑦-coordinates
AND
- then change their individual signs of both the coordinates .
y = - x line is perpendicular bisector of line segment PQ.
So, Q is the reflection of the point P along y = - x line.
So, coordinates of point Q will be (-8, 7).
Quantity A: 𝑥 -coordinate of point Q = - 8
Quantity B: 𝑦 -coordinate of point Q = 7

Clearly, – 8 < 7
Quantity A < Quantity B
Hence, Quantity B is greater.
