In the graph above, it is given that defective parts per 1,000 and we need to find the experience of person who detects with 4.2% accuracy.
Thus 1,000*0.042 = 42. No look for the data point where 42 is, we can see that it is less than 8,000. Thus, option C is the correct answer.
